So when I “Googled” tutorials, your tutorials were the first I watched. Hey, i had this same problem. Sometimes, if you die on your server, it will enter a glitch where you can’t pick things up. I think that all you can do is wait for the glitch to go away, like log in and out a few times. Thats how i got mine back in shape.

I have my own world but its not as good as yours, i have a castle in the nether with a castel made of stone and gravel built around it. in one of your videos you mentioned a teacher you once had, i think you said mrs.deforge. if thats true than i know her. she works at lyman c. hunt middle school, burlington VT.

Mac in incompatible with Windows, It’s like a baby translating English to Russian. Both scripts for Mac, Linux, and Windows are completely different.

False: The game is written in Java which is cross platform. A save on PC should open on mac without any issues because of this. The ‘scripts’ are not completely different. They are written in the exact same language. The issue isn’t with the save files or the game it’s with Fireymaster6. He’s not installing the files correctly I would imagine.

It’s not Paul’s issue. You need to do some research on your own and try to resolve your issue. It’s not an issue of compatibility. A save created on pc will run on a mac.

I recently stumbeled across a video of yours, about minecraft beta which you reviewed and i have to say, you have a really cool town together with your family. Now, i’ve been looking all over the internet for some calm, non violent servers for minecraft, but i’ve been looking for almost 2 hours and i can’t find any. The ones that i do find, mostly have people who steal or break everything you’ve created, also, none of the people arent too nice. So my question was: ( it might sound a bit stupid ) i would really really like to join a server wich i can play on where i have my own little house. I understand that this might seem a strange question, because you dont know me. Thanks PAul…I love this game but I jump easily so when I make my little house of nature on the first night, I get very jumpy. Just so you know on Youtube I am MCSpychicken….look out for them (-_-)and thanks.

Rocketboy: Heres what you have to do in order for your server to work. First, download the latest minecraft multiplayer server.exe of the minecraft website. Then, extract all the files to a map where you want them. What you do next is click on server, let it load for a while… A few new files should appear in the map, open server.bat or something with notepad. There it says all the things for your server, were it says “server ip” Put your local ip adress ( if you want your server to be playable from anywhere, you need to port forward and it is very hard) you can also edit some other server things such as monsters, hellworldm and other stuff like that. Whem your finished, save the file, run server again, open up minecraft and typ the ip wich you also used for the server file.

Dear Paul I downloaded 2 mods ( Minimap mod and Single player commands mod) that minecraft wiki said worked with my minecraft version, since this was my first time using mods I followed a video someone put on youtube ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySjrXyUT174&feature=related ) and dragged and dropped them into the minecraft.jar archive (using winRAR ) I then loaded up Minecraft thinking that they would work, however Minecraft wouldn’t even work and didn’t even go to the title screen. I then went through and deleted the files thinking that they would work, however when I opened Minecraft again it still didn’t work help me Paul, I love minecraft and now i can’t even play.

hey i was trying to get ur world running on my minecraft, so i downloaded it followed the tutorial and got 2 the part where i hit open w/internet exlporer and then it tried opening about 25 or more pages of internet explorer… so i hit task manager to try and get rid of them but cpu usage was at 100% 2 97% so i couldnt close them pls help

I have never understood when people worship people who put videos on YouTube or things of that nature. I can understand respecting them and liking them as a person. Though thats exactly it HES A PERSON!. No offense Paul but when I watch his videos or listen to him, i talk about him in respect, not, like he is a god. I am impressed to see him coordinate his videos life and family the way he does, but hes still a person. if you truly feel that way try making video of your own! not spending all your free time trying to get his attention and go use it to actually do something noticeable. Hope this did not offend you Paul and i do truly respect what you do but I feel I had to get that off my chest.

Hi. My usarname is Kitare102. When I was surfing the interwebz, I found a small passage in the Minecraft wiki telling about a bug where if sand falls on you, and you’re far enough into the square next to it to not be suffocated, you can see through the ground and easily find resource rich underground caverns. I was amazed that this tidbit wasn’t more advertised, becuase it works perfectly, no matter if you’re on beta 1.3_01 or lower or if you’re palying single or multi player. If you can figure out how to do this, I thought you could put it into one of your tutorial videos.Now, go get your mine on, miner boy.

I would like to tell you that you alone are the best minecraft producer, nay, best VIDEO producer that there has been. Your video’s are just plain amazing. There has not been a single one that I’ve watched that has made me go, “Well that was a waste of time”. Coming from me, that is saying something.

I play minecraft quite a bit, so I of course know about everything you put into your tutorials, yet I watch them! I think that the reason of that is just because you make every video, even if it is a tutorial, extremely fun to watch!

My favorite of your series is “Minecraft Dad”. Watching those for me really makes me not able to wait until I have a family of my own. Not only to play minecraft with them of course; but it’s just the amount of.. love (:D) that you have for your family. This may sound weird, but you are seriously a person that.. hmm.. I look up to? Yes, that would probably be it.

Just so you know, I am not writing this to be allowed into your family server or anything like that. (although, that would be pretty awesome ) I just wanted to let you know what I thought about your video’s! So I will tell you now, keep making them! I have watched Pretty much every single one of your videos. I am a huge fan. You show me new ways to play minecraft. My most recent interest is the custom adventure maps. I watched “Towers of Elysium” and I decided to try it out my self. I finished it after a few painful tries and finally got it.(hint: the first secret loot has a specific path you follow so you don’t explode.) I then tried another one called “Forgotten Temple” (by Lurler) in the forums. It was great! You should give it a try.

I also would like to say THANK YOU for the videos you have made. I watched them all at least 7 times each. Maybe sometime I could be in one of your videos? I don’t know, it would be fun though. =)

Hi paul  when i make that simple minecraft intersection the track in the middle is facing the opposite direction as it is in your video. Do i need to go by that south-west rule to make it work.

You don’t swear and your funny and your kids a funny too and i think i saw jumbo playing ps3 when i was on… but anyways i love assassins creed too. Some more ideas for your survive and thrive are redstone, piston creations, branch mining instead of cave mining, and maybe traveling in the nether because 1 nether block is 8 in the real world. but this comment might be too long but if you ever read this i’ll feel so lucky!

hey  um do you want to come on my server tell me if  you have hamachi and i will give you the user and password for my network and the ip for the server

and you can have any family on the server

Open a new finder window (the symbol with the face on it), click on your name, click the file called ‘Library,’ then click on Application Support, and then open your minecraft folder. Drag the map file into your saves folder. Open Minecraft and play! hope this helped

also if the file downloads as a zip file, by double clicking on it it should become a folder. You need to place the Tutorial World folder in the saves folder, not the zip file

I learned everything about survival on mc from you and I always check for your videos, I am sorry to hear about the hurricane hitting your house hope there wasn’t any damage. I think you are probably the best minecrafter out there for survival. Your series like “How to survive and thrive” and “Minecraft Dad” are my favorites out of all of them I also see you have been playing tereria (probably spelt it wrong) too. I haven’t really bothered to look that much into it so Witch one do you think is better between MC and Treria or do do you think they are equal in FUNmazment ( yes I made that up) and what are the pros and cons? I think that you are probably the most helpful person for backup on minecraft but does Fbackup really work that well and what is it backing up?

Hey Paul, try the 1.8.1 seed i cam up with. Im not sure if someone else has as well, since its pretty obvious but in the seed bar, type “Adventure” (must me capital A and without quotations) you dont have to make a video about it but it would be nice if you could check it out and get back to me
